An Aberdeen shopping centre is taking a selection of its retailers on tour next week as it hosts a pop-up event outside the city.
Bon Accord & St Nicholas will hold a special event at Village, The Hotel Club Aberdeen at the Prime Four Business Park in Kingswells on Tuesday, December 1, from 4pm to 7pm.
For one night only, selected retailers will be showcasing goods at the venue, with a range of exclusive offers, previews of new collections, style and gift advice all on display.
Already confirmed for the event are Bodyshop, Jigsaw, Monsoon and Topshop to name but a few, with attendees being treated to a glass of fizz on arrival alongside free tote bags for the first 50 people each hour from 4pm.
The event follows a successful inaugural evening earlier this year and is aimed at increasing the accessibility of the centre and its retail offering for those who live outside of Aberdeen in the run-up to Christmas.
It is the latest in a host of innovative initiatives that Bon Accord & St Nicholas has embraced this year and follows successful student only and VIP events that were held with a view to enhancing an individual’s shopping experience.
Craig Stevenson, manager of Bon Accord & St Nicholas, said: “Our pop-up event in May at Village, The Hotel Club was fantastic and we’re delighted to be bringing it back again this month.
“We’ve been working hard at coming up with ways to enhance the shopping experience for our loyal visitors and we appreciate that many come from outside Aberdeen. So, with this in mind, we’ve decided to take some of our retailers to them instead, just in time for beginning the run-up to Christmas.
“The evening will be full of special giveaways, offers and help and advice from a range of high street brands and I’m sure it will prove popular with people from the surrounding area. If you work in Kingswells, we’d also be delighted to welcome you along after your day is finished; there will be something for everyone and we’d be thrilled to see you there.”
Bon Accord & St Nicholas are at the heart of Aberdeen city centre’s retail sector, offering 840,000 sq ft of prime space and home to around 100 stores. Scotland’s largest Next; Aberdeen’s only Topshop and Topman standalone store as well as the City’s largest New Look and River Island are among the key retailers.
The centres, which attract an average of 275,000 visitors a week, are owned by BMO Real Estate Partners and managed by specialist retail agency Savills. For further on the centres visit www.bonaccordandstnicholas.com.
