BOC is delighted to host the opening of BOC Kittybrewster H2ME, a new 700 bar hydrogen refuelling facility designed for public vehicles.
Supported by Aberdeen City Council and funded by the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking initiative, the project - which builds on the success of the existing Kittybrewster bus station - will open the way for businesses and individuals to make greener decisions about how they want to travel and help the region on its journey to a brighter, cleaner future.
As part of a business which has seen more than a million hydrogen refuellings completed in its 100+ hydrogen stations worldwide, BOC’s commitment to clean fuels is clear. Join us as we celebrate this latest important addition to our low-carbon portfolio.
The event will begin with presentations from BOC, Aberdeen City Council, Toyota and Hyundai, followed by the official opening and ribbon cutting. Registered attendees will then have the opportunity to tour the site with a representative from BOC.
Toyota and Hyundai will be bring their Mirai and Nexo vehicles, so you will be able to experience a ride in a hydrogen powered vehicle.
In addition there is the option to have a short drive in the Hyundai Nexo, however should you wish to do this we will require some additional information from you prior to the event.
