Bmi regional’s direct flights from Aberdeen to Bristol are providing fans with access to artist Banksy’s largest art installation to date.
Built at a derelict seafront lido in Weston-super-Mare Banksy’s Dismaland show - which will also feature work from Damien Hirst, Jenny Holzer and Jimmy Cauty –has taken over the Tropicana site for six weeks.
The attraction is his first in the UK since 2009's Banksy v Bristol Museum show which drew huge crowds and provides a unique opportunity to see the artist’s work.
Weston-super-Mare is a thirty minute train journey from Bristol, meaning that bmi regional’s twice daily flights to Bristol from Aberdeen International Airport presents the perfect opportunity to see the show.
Paul Sies, Chief Commercial Officer of bmi regional, said: “As a destination Bristol has always had a lot to offer travellers, from the Eden project to access to the Cotsworld’s but the addition of Banksy’s latest instillation nearby is going to be a major draw for tourists.
“Our daily Aberdeen flights linking Bristol with the north-east of Scotland is going to provide a unique opportunity to access the show. “
Bmi regional’s Aberdeen to Bristol flight operates Monday to Friday twice daily with an additional Sunday flight.
