The team behind Banchory Beer Festival has committed to donating 10 per cent of ticket sales from their next event to support victims of the recent flooding.
Organisers MFGF events appreciate how much support and positive feedback they have received from the local community and businesses, and it is this that has driven them to donate to the flood relief efforts in the area.
Co-founder Mungo Finlayson said:
"We recognise how much support and positive feedback we've received from the local community and local businesses. We hope our donation will go towards helping people get back on their feet after the recent devastation some have encountered."
Banchory Beer Festival presents Beer@theBarn 2016 will take place at the Woodend Barn Arts Centre, Banchory, on February 12 & 13.
The festival has fully sold out a few weeks prior for the second year in a row and as usual they will have some great beers, ciders, gins and rum on offer including Banchory's own rum, Dark Matter, Aberdeen's first gin, Porter's gin and very excitingly, the first airing on mainland Scotland of the new Isle of Harris gin. There will also be excellent food and a range of bands, some new to the festival, as well as some popular returners.
