The City of Aberdeen Baker Hughes 10K Running Festival is in the running for a prestigious tourism award.
The event, led by charitable leisure trust Sport Aberdeen and Baker Hughes, is a finalist in the Aberdeen City and Shire Tourism Awards.
The winner of the Best Sporting Event will be announced at the awards ceremony at Ardoe House Hotel on November 25th 2016. Those who pick up the regional title will go on to represent the area at the national tourism Oscars – the Scottish Thistle Awards – when they take place in 2017.

Ten official partner charities supported the race with stalls at the race village, volunteers and the overall organisation of the event.
