Gilson Gray is delighted to have been recognised at the 20th Herald Law Awards of Scotland which took place in Glasgow on Friday, November 15, 2024.

The firm – which has offices across Scotland and England, and, most recently, acquired City of London-based PCM Solicitors – was announced as finalists in the Debt Recovery, Family and Child Law and Litigation Teams of the Year awards, won Litigation Team of the Year and was highly commended in the Family and Child Law category.

Describing the key points which led to winning the Litigation category, the judges noted: “Gilson Gray’s impressive handling of high-profile public law litigation has earned them Team of the Year. They successfully defended the largest ever claims in the Court of Session and played a key role in tax cases before the UK Supreme Court. The firm’s growing public law practice and newly established mass litigation service further demonstrates its strong track record and leadership in the field.”

Also taking place on Friday 15 November in Aberdeen was the BWC Athena Awards, in which Lesley McKnight, Partner and Deborah Bonner, Valuer, were finalists in the Women in Law and Rising Star categories respectively.
