Fulkrum, a leading provider of inspection, expediting, auditing, and technical staffing services, has been announced as a finalist in this year’s Gulf Energy Excellence Awards.
In recognition for its ‘One Team’ initiatives, Fulkrum has been shortlisted in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) in Energy category.
The globally recognized awards bring together industry leaders operating across the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors and are a culmination of the highly respected World Oil Awards, Hydrocarbon Processing Awards, Petroleum Economist Awards and Pipeline and Gas Journal Awards. 2024 marked a record year for award nominations, with 20% more applications than previous years.
Fulkrum’s nomination is a testament to its commitment to advancing diversity across the sector. With 15 offices located across five regions, the ‘One Team’ initiatives have had a significant impact throughout the company including enhanced problem-solving and innovation, better understanding of customers, and improved adaptability to market changes.
Brock Falkenhagen, Fulkrum’s Global Vice President, stated, “Our team is our greatest asset, so to be a finalist in this category is a moment of immense pride for all of us at Fulkrum. We have an incredibly diverse team, with 23 nationalities and more than 35 languages spoken across the company, in addition to a 50/50 gender split and ages varying from under 19 years old to 70+, so effective DE&I policies are crucial for us.
“We are thrilled that our ‘One Team’ initiatives have received this recognition and remain committed to celebrating the importance of diversity in the energy industry.”
The winners of The Gulf Energy Excellence Awards will be announced at the ceremony on October 9, 2024, in Houston, Texas. Fulkrum extends its congratulations to all shortlisted companies and looks forward to celebrating the collective achievements of the industry.
