Pippa Robertson, Co-founder and Director of Aberdeen based Aurora Planning Limited, has been shortlisted for Scottish Young Planner of the Year in the regional Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Awards for Planning Excellence 2023.
The RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence have been running for over 40 years and are the most established and respected awards in the UK planning industry, celebrating exceptional examples of planning and the contribution planners make to society.
Fellow co-founder and Director of Aurora Planning, Dr Margaret Bochel, says:
“I’m delighted that Pippa has been shortlisted for this award – it is very well deserved, as it is for all others who have been shortlisted for an award in all categories.
As well as the range, quality and variety of Pippa’s planning experience (which include her contribution to securing planning consent for the UK’s first vertical launch spaceport), her particular strengths are her originality of approach, and her commitment to delivering community and social benefits, carrying out reduced fee and pro-bono work both as part of Aurora Planning and in her own time, and to sharing her knowledge and experience by, amongst other things, mentoring interns.”
Scottish award winners will be announced at a ceremony in Glasgow on 15 June 2023.
