ASET International Energy Training Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Terry Charleton as its new business development manager. 

This strategic addition to the team marks a key step in ASET's transformation and expanding its global market presence. Terry’s appointment will also further ASET’s ongoing efforts to both strengthen existing sectors and develop further into new sectors aligned to regional and international opportunities. 

Terry brings with him over 25 years of experience in cultivating client relationships across the international Oil and Gas sector. His previous roles include global account manager at Expro and business development manager at Geospatial Insight, where he successfully drove business growth and identified new opportunities in competitive markets.

In his new role, Terry will collaborate with ASET’s senior management team and board of sirectors to drive growth across key training areas, including CompEx, High Voltage, Marine Operations, and Process Engineering as well as looking at enhancing the company’s digital training portfolio.

His extensive industry knowledge and client-focused approach will not only support the continued delivery of world-class training to both domestic and international clients but will also contribute to ASET's innovation in training delivery across expanding sectors. 

This includes focusing on decommissioning, renewable energies, and construction, where ASET is committed to providing training solutions to meet the evolving needs of these industries.

Additionally, Terry will play a vital role in strengthening ASET’s partnership with North East Scotland College (NESCol), identifying collaborative opportunities that support clients in optimising operations and future-proofing their workforce.
