AREG’s Renewable Energy Young Professionals (RE-YP) network will host its first meeting of 2024 on Thursday, 15 February from 1300-1400. The online event will explore how to get the most out of conferences and events.

With Global Underwater Hub’s Subsea Expo taking place at Aberdeen’s P&J Live later in February, the OPITO-sponsored network series, facilitated by AREG director and Professional Services Network chair, Rod Hutchison, aims to help attendees make the most of time spent at industry events and conferences such as Subsea Expo.

Speakers at the RE-YP meeting will include Graceann Robertson, Marketing Manager, Verlume and RE-YP Network co-chair, Jacqui Taylor, Finance and Commercial Director at Global Underwater Hub, and Faye Sherriffs, Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at OPITO.

Topics covered at the meeting will include how to plan your visit to an event, what to do when you are there, how to approach stands and speakers and start conversations as well as evaluating your activity afterward.

The RE-YP network is chaired by Graceann Robertson, marketing manager, Verlume, and Charlotte Lawson, external relations manager, SSEN.

There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and discuss the topic at the end.
