Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group (AREG), through its supply chain and technology and communications networks, will host its first virtual event of the year on Tuesday January 21, 2025, titled “Streamlining Supply Chains with Technology and Communication”.

The event will take place from 12pm to 1pm via Microsoft Teams.

This supply chain and technology and communications webinar aims to showcase the role of communications and technology in streamlining supply chain operations, and explore in detail the profound impact of communications to the sector.

The Network event will be facilitated by Paul Murphie and Neil McIntosh, network chairs and experienced communications and supply chain professionals.

The event will feature speakers from The James Hutton Institute and Aspect, a strategic communications company, who will explore key insights into:

  • The role of communication in fostering collaboration and building partnerships
  • Advancements in hydrogen development, driving a cleaner energy future
  • The importance of communicating with local communities to highlight the value in renewable projects from job creation to economic growth and development

Attendees can expect to gain a strong understanding of how these initiatives can enhance efficiency, drive sector-wide collaboration, and unlock opportunities in supply chain optimisation and partnerships with local communities.
