Leading casing and tubing supplier, Apex Tubulars, has donated £10,000 to the Russell Anderson Foundation to help fund the charity’s core programmes, which support more than 2,500 children across 12 schools in Aberdeen.
This marks the second consecutive year that Apex has supported the foundation, a cause that ensures young people from areas of social deprivation continue to benefit from physical activity, wellbeing and personal development.
The Russell Anderson Foundation is dedicated to improving the life chances of young people. Through tailored programmes, the foundation helps children build confidence, develop essential life skills and improve their overall wellbeing.
Russell Anderson and Jim Geddie
Jim Geddie, managing director at Apex Tubulars said: “At Apex, we recognise the incredible work the foundation is doing to create opportunities for young people in Aberdeen and by supporting these programmes, we hope to help provide the next generation with the tools they need for a brighter future.”
Russell Anderson commented: “This donation goes beyond financial support. For many of the young people we work with, these programmes offer opportunities they might not otherwise have.
“We are incredibly grateful to Jim and the team at Apex for recognising the importance of investing in this cause and we look forward to continuing this partnership to positively impact even more young lives.”
This contribution is part of Apex’s ongoing support for the foundation, with an initial commitment spanning three years. Apex has also engaged with the charity through previous fundraising events, including attending its annual fundraising ball.
