Following its 4th successful plant, machinery and equipment sale this year – with 82% of the 2,946 lots sold – ANM Group is set to host its next auction on Saturday July 2 2016 at Thainstone Centre, Inverurie.
The sale regularly attracts more than 2,000 bidders, including a variety of buyers from across the UK and Ireland flocking to Thainstone Centre at the weekend. The online bidding system, i-bidder.com, also features strongly within the plant, vehicles and lorries sections with online buyers from throughout the UK and Europe showing interest.
The top price from last month’s sale came from a Volvo Slew EC210 digger which sold for £30,000; this was followed by a JCBC3X digger which was purchased for £17,000. The 4x4 section was led by a Ford Transit Custom van that sold for £8,600; in the Heavy Commercials category a Volvo EC27 tipper sold for £12,200; while the Trailer’s Caravans and Containers category was topped by a Ifor Williams LM166 trailer for £3,400.
In the sale of farm-consigned machinery and implements, a 16 tonne Stewart grain trailer realised £10,400; including a 16 tonne Linden grain trailer which sold for £7,000.
