Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC) are gearing up to exhibit at IMEX America.
IMEX America is a fantastic meeting place for companies looking to do business on an international scale and runs from 13-15 October in Sands Expo, Las Vegas. The event thousands of buyers and exhibitors from the America and around the world and AECC’s Sales Manager for Associations, Steven Daun, will be showcasing Aberdeen and AECC as part of the VisitScotland stand which hosts a total of 18 Scottish partners at the international event.
Aberdeen has had some fantastic conference wins recently and the programme of events at AECC welcomes a varied offering of both national and international conferences within the fields of energy, medical and science.
International conferences coming to AECC in 2016 include: Junior Chamber International, European Health Psychology Conference, International Institute of Fisheries Economics and Trade (IIFET) and Intelligent Energy and for these conferences, the cumulative attendance at these conferences alone is expected to be around 3,500 with delegates attending from all over the world.
Steven Daun said, “At AECC, we have been working very hard over the past few years to try and bring as many international conferences to Aberdeen as possible. The most important thing for us is to showcase our beautiful region and city and show delegates what we have to offer in the North-east of Scotland. With the upcoming new development for AECC, I’m sure there will be plenty of interest with international clients who would love to bring their conferences to the new centre, opening in 2018.”
