Leading independent energy consultancy ADIL’s operations and improvements team has capped a successful start to the year, securing contracts totalling nearly £500,000 in the last quarter.
The company, which has offices in Aberdeen and London, has experienced a consistent demand for services in production operations support, transition planning and management, as well as technical safety support for production restarts on assets in the North Sea.
In addition to securing long-term contracts to support to clients across the North Sea, ADIL has also provided peer review and technical authoring services contracts to companies across the UK.
The move reflects the continued focus on operational efficiency across the sector, according to managing director James Paton.
He said: “Despite the combination of high operational costs with a low oil price, there remains a priority for operators and supply chain companies to ensure they are safely delivering production at a high operating efficiency. Our operations and improvements team is set up to help them achieve this.
“The first few months of 2015 have been highly challenging for most companies operating and working in the UKCS, but we are still seeing regular demand for our operations and improvements consultancy services, as companies still need solutions to day-to-day issues both on and offshore.
“Driving production efficiency is key to our approach and this is increasingly important for North Sea companies as they strive to ensure the effective management of their assets and services.”
An independent consultancy with access to over 200 personnel at offices in Aberdeen and London, ADIL was recently identified as one of London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain.
