Northsound's studio in Aberdeen is to close permanently.
Bauer Radio announced the closure of the Aberdeen studio as one of eight closing its doors across the UK, including MFR's home in Inverness, the P&J reports.
It comes after another blow to the region in the decision to cancel the station's dedicated North-east breakfast show, Jeff and Lauren in the Morning.
The replacement breakfast show is broadcast from Edinburgh.
The Abbotswell Road studio, which has been a base for Northsound presenters, DJs, reporters, and other staff, will now close permanently as well.
