A University of Aberdeen Student has today (January 28 2016) launched an online service to assist students in finding term time Student Accommodation.
Student Box (http://www.studentboxapp.com) combines Flat Shares, Rental Property and Halls of Residence property listings in one place, allowing Students easy access to find their student homes for the academic year. The free service was setup following demand from student for an easy, and simplistic way to aggregate all possible property types in one place, with a simple search function, assisting them throughout the stressful time of finding properties, which is often done during exam time.
Users of the website can also activate the background search functionality, which sends users a daily update notification with the latest properties matching their criteria.
Currently launched in the major university cities in Scotland (Including Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh), Student Box plans to launch across the UK within the next couple of months. Expected to carry over 2,000 property listings during its peak times, Student Box aims to make the student property hunt simpler and more enjoyable for students.
