Aberdeen has been named as one of the best cities for jobs and work opportunities in the UK.
The Granite City comes in at number 9 CoworkingCafe's analysis of employment, business growth and housing affordability in Britain's biggest cities.
Aberdeen left Edinburgh, number 18, in its wake as analysts were impressed by "strong job availability and exceptional housing affordability".
Researchers found Aberdeen had the lowest home price-to-income ratio in the whole of Britain, making the city the most accessible place for homebuyers.
They calculated workers were able to purchase a home with just four years' salaries, while rents took up just under 26% of median earnings.
Analysts also discovered 77.4% of working-age Aberdeen residents were in employment, with a 7.1% year-over-year employment rate growth maintaining a steady job market.
On job availability, there are 94 job openings for every 10,000 working-age people, equating to "solid opportunities for job seekers".
CoworkingCafe researchers found Aberdeen has 78 active businesses with 10 or more employees (the 11th best nationwide) and 3.3 high-growth enterprises (that recorded at least a 20% employment growth throughout three years) per 10,000 working-age residents, reflecting a stable business environment.
And median annual earnings of £38,242, above the national average, after a 6.3% year-on-year increase.
