Ellon-based Aberdeen Minerals is excited to welcome Grant Bellshaw as exploration geologist.
Grant joins a growing technical team as Aberdeen Minerals continues its exploration for deposits of nickel, copper and cobalt in North-east Scotland, following the completion of a major financing in May 2024.
Responsibly sourced and secure supplies of these metallic raw materials used in batteries and electrification are critical to a just energy transition in Scotland and the UK.
Grant qualified as a geologist from the University of Glasgow with a BSc in Earth Science, and prior to joining Aberdeen Minerals he worked in base metal and lithium exploration in Cornwall.
He is passionate about the application of geology within an energy-transition focused industry.
