Aberdeen International Airport has launched the ABZ Propeller Fund for 2025, maintaining its £30,000 funding commitment.
This initiative underscores the airport’s ongoing dedication to supporting local projects linked to education, sustainability, and economic regeneration.
In 2024, the ABZ Propeller Fund provided grants to 24 organisations, bolstering a variety of community-driven initiatives.
Since its relaunch in 2022, the fund has awarded a total of £80,000 to 61 different groups, making a significant impact across the region.
Bruce Watson, chairman of the ABZ Propeller Fund, stated: “We are delighted to continue our £30,000 funding into 2025. The diverse range of projects supported in 2024 highlights the fund’s role in fostering positive change within our community. We look forward to supporting more initiatives that align with our core values in the coming year.”
The ABZ Propeller Fund committee, comprising airport staff and representatives from local authorities and government, will remain unchanged for 2025.
The committee meets quarterly to review applications, which are accepted throughout the year.
Organisations interested in applying are encouraged to review the fund’s guidelines and submit their applications via the official website: Aberdeen Airport Propeller Fund | Aberdeen Airport
