Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce that Leah Hodder has joined its board as a Non-Executive Director.
In her day job Leah is currently Director of Marketing and Communications for Aberdeen Performing Arts, the award-winning independent charity, one of the largest arts organisations in Scotland and Business of the Year at the 2019 Northern Star Awards.
Prior to this, Leah held a wide variety of roles, all of which are highly relevant to the work the Chamber of Commerce does. These included being an account manager at a publishing services company, handling communications, community engagement and circular economy projects at Zero Waste Scotland and acting as a communications and policy advisor at the Scottish Parliament.
Board Chair Bob Keiller welcomed the appointment saying: “We are delighted that Leah is going to bring her passion and energy to the Chamber Board and it was clear she shared our vision for a thriving and prosperous North-east. Her experience will help us continue to build on our entrepreneurial strengths and establish creative partnerships to help deliver cultural, social, economic and environmental benefits to the region, changing lives for the better.
