On Wednesday May 4 from 10am to 12pm, the Foyer is holding a session at the Marywell Centre and invites employers in the care sector to meet and talk with potential candidates currently undertaking a five week care course.
The Foyer works in partnership with JobCentre Plus and the Care Centre of Excellence to try and fill current vacancies within the Care Sector.
The Care Course comprises principles and practice, legislation, relevant theory, first aid and food hygiene.
This is followed by a three week work experience placement. Candidates will require PVG membership and this needs to be employer sourced, but costs will be refunded by the Foyer. The Foyer will also cover travel costs for participants.
