Aberdeen Cocktail Week returns from October 16 to 23, with hundreds of locals and visitors due to explore the city’s vibrant bar scene with a week of exclusive cocktails across 31 venues.
This year’s festival boasts over 80 unique cocktails, including £5 special creations and £6 drinks that highlight local brands, providing an ideal way to discover Aberdeen’s diverse range of bars & brands.
In addition to providing a fun experience for attendees, the festival is projected to significantly boost city centre footfall over the 8 days with attendees making over 34,000 bar visits in previous years, resulting in an overall economic impact exceeding £250,000.
The festival is self-sufficient, receiving no grants and relying solely on ticket sales for funding, participating venues pay nothing to be involved, and the festival takes no cut from their sales. Organisers also prioritise local marketing efforts, funding photography, influencer visits, and other promotional activities to ensure that the festival supports Aberdeen’s hospitality scene as well as showcasing it.
The diverse mix of participating venues includes Codonas, Arcadia Bar and Games, Bartenders Lounge, BrewDog Castlegate, BrewDog Aberdeen, BrewDog Union Square, College Bar, Common Sense Coffee House and Bar, Dusk, Malmaison, Monty’s Wine Bar, McGinty’s Meal An’ Ale, Ninety-Nine, No.10 Bar & Restaurant, Orchid, Revolution, ShapeShifters, Siberia Bar & Hotel, Soul, Tarragon On The Terrace, The Albyn, The Craftsman Company, The Esslemont, The Firepit, The Ivy Lodge, The Noose and Monkey, The Old Workshop Bar, The Pigs Wings, The Tilted Wig, The Tippling House and Under The Hammer.
The stellar line-up of creative cocktails includes plenty of no-alcohol options (with some cocktails also being available with or without alcohol) as well as some that feature local brands like House of Elrick, Esker, Dough & Co, Quine Bee Honey, Bandit Bakery and even Irn-Bru!
