Aberdeen based political engagement business Square Peg Consulting has joined national membership body the Association for Scottish Public Affairs (ASPA).
Square Peg’s business incorporates political engagement and public affairs work on behalf of clients, whether that is facilitating meetings with politicians, advising on influencing strategies, or supporting wider interactions with the political system.
ASPA is a membership body which asks its members to adhere to a code of conduct in their dealings on behalf of clients, which provides a reassuring benchmark for anyone engaging the services of their clients.
Commenting, Square Peg founder and owner Mark McDonald said: “I am delighted that Square Peg Consulting has become a member of the Association for Scottish Public Affairs.
“Becoming a member of ASPA demonstrates the intention of the business to deliver a high standard of work on behalf of clients, and helps to provide reassurance to existing and prospective clients that we will follow an agreed set of standards in all of the work we carry out on their behalf.
“Since establishing the business in June I have worked with a number of clients already, and I am confident that this latest development will help support the growth of the business and its client base into the future.”
