In July, VisitAberdeenshire successfully launched the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Tourism Barometer, a quarterly online tourism survey managed by VisitScotland. It was a successful launch due to the fact that so many people took the time to complete the survey, providing them with rich data that they simply wouldn’t be able to source from anywhere else.

The Barometer is live once again, seeking views on Quarter 3 of this year and how it compared with the same Quarter in 2017. To compare like with like, it’s crucial that those who completed it last time do so again.

For those businesses that fall within the Cairngorm National Park area, please be aware that the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Tourism Barometer is not the same survey as the Cairngorms Business Barometer. The Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire Tourism Barometer is a Scotland-wide survey with reporting to regional level and VisitAberdeenshire would invite these businesses to take part in both surveys to enable measurement and comparison of data on a national and regional level.
