Aberdeen accountancy firm looks to the future

One of Aberdeen’s most-established chartered accountancy firms has unveiled a new look.

James Milne, founded in the city in 1888, has unveiled a new corporate identity designed to reflect the evolution of the business and its plans for the future.

The clean, crisp new logo and colours will become a familiar sight in the weeks and months ahead as they are applied across print materials, a newly launched website and throughout the Aberdeen and Inverurie offices – but the cornerstones of the firm remain in place.

Managing partner Graham Bridgeford said: “We’re proud to unveil our new identity, which forms part of a wider focus on how we promote James Milne. It is an exciting time for the team as we embark on the next stage of the firm’s development.

“We have a fantastic story to tell, not only about our heritage but about our vision as a modern, progressive and growing firm offering a wide range of services to business and private clients alike. The new identity will help us communicate that better and build brand awareness, both in traditional form and with an increased digital presence which will be built upon our newly launched website.

“Whilst we have a new look, what will not change is our commitment to the highest standards of professionalism and service. With our experienced partners and talented staff, the expertise at the heart of the firm remains our greatest asset and that will continue to be the case.”

Neil Haston, creative director of brand specialists Citrus:Mix, said: “When we set out on the journey with James Milne it was important to understand where the firm had come from and the aspirations for the future. The creative process is a rewarding one for all involved and the new identity, with crisp and clean lines, will serve James Milne well for what promise to be exciting years ahead.”

James Milne Chartered Accountants serves personal clients as well as business clients across a diverse range of industries, from the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire staples of oil and gas and agriculture through to retail, hospitality, fishing, haulage, trades, construction and many more.
