Aberdeen-based audio visual sale and hire specialists, A-Line, has launched Your Day - a new wedding services division, which will become part of the A-Line Group.
This is a direct result of significantly increased demand for the company’s services within the wedding market, which includes lighting, draping, sound systems, staging, fairytale canopies, bespoke dance floors and accessories such as large free-standing marquee lettering and ‘selfie’ mirrors.
When comparing enquiry rates year-on-year, interest for these services has increased by 50% from March 2015 to March 2016, as the region’s brides and grooms continue to invest in their big day. Only 22% of brides are prepared to cut budget due to economic climate, with 50% of brides expecting to go over budget to get the day of their dreams. The average cost of a UK wedding is now over £20,500.
