Fine-food delivery company Donald Russell is pleased to have won two awards at the North East Scotland Food & Drink Awards: best new product (large company) and e-commerce success.
The best new product went to their Scottish Stuffing with Whisky & White Pudding. A luxury festive stuffing made with classic pork sausagemeat, Scotch whisky-soaked apple, grain mustard and a locally sourced white pudding centre. This unique combination of Scottish flavours is the work of Donald Russell Senior Development Chef, Eddie McDonald.
The E-Commerce Success award recognises their commitment to driving growth and innovation in developing a digital route to market. The expert team have worked on several ways to make shopping on their website an easy, enjoyable and inspiring experience for their customers, such as being able to see what other people are buying, recommending relevant products to go with their food purchases, and custom personalisation to show people more of what they are interested in.
North-east Scotland has celebrated the success of its food and drink sector with an annual awards event, highlighting innovation and business excellence, for over 30 years.
