Mark Shaw has worked in the funeral profession for over 30 years, having worked in a variety of firms both private and national prior to opening Mark Shaw Funeral Services in 2003. It has always been his goal to provide an exceptional level of service, the best facilities and an excellent team.

 

Mark has a degree in Economics from Aberdeen University and for a time worked in a private client department with a law firm, gaining invaluable experience in legal matters surrounding bereavement. Mark is qualified both as a funeral director and embalmer.  He is also a Burgess of the City of Aberdeen.
 

Having always wanted to run his own funeral company, Mark realised this ambition in 2003 when he started his first funeral home at 347 George Street in Aberdeen.
